I think this video just explained a few things I was needing to know about video functions to get better footage. The auto focus and frame rate explanations are perfectly simple and made a lot of sense. Once i tried different frame rates for the different situations it made a world of difference

I know this is an older post but I’m having an extremely hard time with the noise on the Z9 from my understanding the star light feature just brightens the screen not actually effects the image or help denoise. My editor is getting noise even at 200 and 400 iso

24-70 f 2.8

for wedding definitely 24-70/2.8 because solves almost all situation... in many cases you can deal with 24-70/4 from canon, which has macro capability and to be honest, you have time to play with photos, the only limitation could be light... not quantity, but quality... everybody is frozen to help you catch nice pictures, no possibility to open aperture too much in group of people...

i am in the same process. deleted facebook, deleting instagram also deleting reddit for that matter. i keep whatsapp because its just a messenger. and for questions and seeking answers i ll replace reddit with actual good old topic related web forums. its not even just wasting time or sharing artificial crap with artificial people but i honestly noticed that especially facebook made me kind of a bad person somehow. the thing with facebook (and its doing it on purpose to get engagement) its build of extremes. you dont get normal people discussing normal things in a normal way. it always shoves extreme discussions at your face with toxic people arguing about politics and whatever other stuff and everyone is correct and everyone else is bad and... if you even dare to participate in this... you re allready kind of trapped in it and based on ''law of average'' where a person always becomes the average of the people surrounding you... well... guess what happens if you surround yourself with toxic people. you kind of become like this too without even realizing it.

looks like 105mm macro lens skin color is more real than 85mm lens. Arm I right?

Nikon z s class lens are stupid sharp with IQ so good that makes everything except zeiss lens look dull. I plan on getting tthis lens for portrait lens later. Bcs im 50mm guy, next lens should be 100mm

As white photographers in particular, I believe we have an extra responsibility to speak up about these things - and encourage clients to seek more respectful and appropriate venues for their celebrations

Nice video - very simple, thanks. I had to use subtitles though because the sound quality is poor.

I know this is a very good camera but I wish it supported a vertical grip. I just like having two batteries in the camera just in case I'm taking photos and can't get to my bag to replace the battery I have a back up battery in my camera. Nikon use to make some of their cameras letting you have a battery in the camera with a vertical grip. But Canon, Nikon and Sony now you only have batteries in the vertical grip. As of right now the only brands that are making cameras that you can have a battery in camera and one battery in a vertical grip are Fuji, Panasonic, Olympus.

I've been using SD cards for years and never had any issues. I shoot weddings also. If you are buying from Amazing don't there are bootlegs in the bins at Amazon coming from China. For example another company wants to sell band B and Amazon also sells the same brand that's brand B. So they put the ones Amazon owns and the third party ones all in the same bin. SanDisk is said to be the best SD card company. They came up with the format. The brand I use a lot is Transcend and I bought six of them years ago and they are all still working. Sometimes some cameras have issues with some memory cards. I remember reading there was a issue with one of the Leica cameras messing up SD cards. There are stories of XQD cards failing also.

50mm 1.4d, on a nikon d4s, or an f100 film.

Thanks, I'm thinking of switching my 85 with this 105. I already have the 50mm 1.8 also so it can take a lot of portraits itself, this will get me more length plus ability to close focus. The 135 1.8 plan would be even better but almost too long, and way too $. ...plus can't do the macro... think I'm gonna try it.

If I had to select only one lens for shooting a wedding with a full-frame digital camera, it would be a 28-70mm f/2.8 Nikkor zoom. If I had to select only one lens for shooting a wedding with an APS-C digital camera, it would be a 16-55mm f/2.8 Fujinon zoom.
